Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Extends Warm Eid-ul-Azha Greetings to Freedom Fighters

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina conveyed heartfelt greetings to the revered Freedom Fighters (FFs) of Bangladesh on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, one of the major festivals celebrated by Muslims worldwide.

As a gesture of her goodwill and respect, the Prime Minister presented floral arrangements, fruits, and delectable sweetmeats to the war-wounded freedom fighters and the families of the martyred heroes. The presentation took place at the Martyred and War-wounded Freedom Fighters’ Rehabilitation Centre (Muktijoddha Tower-1) located on Gaznavi Road in Mohammadpur, Dhaka.

Representing the Prime Minister, Gazi Hafizur Rahman Liku, Assistant Personal Secretary-2, and ABM Sarwer-E-Alom Sarker, Assistant Press Secretary, graciously handed over the tokens of appreciation to the recipients.

Expressing their heartfelt gratitude, the war-wounded freedom fighters and the martyred families extended their thanks to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for consistently remembering and honoring them on various national occasions and festivities, including Independence Day, Victory Day, Eid, and Pahela Baishakh.

Furthermore, they expressed deep appreciation for the Prime Minister’s extensive efforts in facilitating their rehabilitation, exemplified by the construction of Muktijoddha Tower-1, a remarkable 13-storey residential-cum-commercial building in Mohammadpur.

Commending Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visionary leadership, the esteemed veterans expressed optimism that the Awami League government would ensure a prosperous and progressive future for people of all age groups in Bangladesh.

In addition to their gratitude, the distinguished heroes offered prayers for the Prime Minister’s good health and longevity, recognizing her as a true champion of the nation.
